How does telemedicine work?

Telemedicine works in a very similar way to in-person consultations. We contact you at your appointment time using secure online services.

You and the provider see and hear each other over the video link, much as you would on a Zoom call or Skype. You can discuss your symptoms, and we have access to your medical records, so we can see if you have any other health issues that may be relevant.

If you have a visible problem like a rash, we may want to see the area in detail or ask you to show them exactly where you're experiencing pain. We can also send you a prescription or advise you on what steps to take next.
